The Mada Resource Center is a unique space showcasing an extensive range of Assistive Technologies (AT) for People with Disabilities. The Resource Center gives People with a Disability, their families, Health, Education and Social Care professionals with the opportunity to see first hand how people with a disability can exploit the potential of modern Information and Communication Technology.
The Center displays a range of technology from screen reading solutions for People who are blind to gaming software and educational resources for people with Learning Disabilities. From Eye-gaze solutions to alternative keyboards and mice for people with physical disabilities, the range of computer access options for people is extensive. In partnership with QTel and as part of the Connected Initiative, there is also a permanent display of mobile and smart phone equipped with the latest accessibility features and options and apps that make using the phone more practical for people with a disability.
