To support policymakers and education staff in developing and implementing programs that qualify students with special educational needs from the supported learning environment to the workplace
- To Understand the fundamentals of transition planning and its goals. (Post-school outcomes)
- To know how to collaborate with school personnel, outside agencies, and families.
- To plan and administer individualized, age-appropriate, and culturally responsive assessments to develop a set of appropriate activities.
- To have a deep understanding of existing systems to further student success in employment, further learning, and community involvement.
